After the NATO forces killed 24 Pakistani soldier in an airstrike, two senior U.S military officials, the head of the U.S. Command Gen, James Mattis and the U.S. commander in Afghanistan Gen. John Allen met with Pakistani Army chief Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani. they discussed the investigation as well as ways to improve cooperation at the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The Indian and Pakistani met in Seoul at the international nuclear summit to discuss there relationship as countries. During this India was trying to hide because of the lack of enforcement's in their army. Afghanistan is taking precautions (lock down). Afghan and NATO forces went into a joint raid into the northern province of Faryab, and killed Makhdum Nusrat, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan in Afghanistan. The Obama administration sent formal diplomatic letters to 64 countries, appealing for greater pledges of aid to Afghanistan following the withdrawal of NATO troops in 2014.
Do you believe that Obama should take the NATO troop out in 2014, why or why not?
I think that Obama should take them out in 2014 because it has nothing to do with us so why do we have to put our people in a different country. We help more countries then we do our own and we are im pretty sure struggling with our dept situation. So i think that we should help others after our selves and only if it is really needed. So yes he should take the NATO out.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with Melanie. We should take out the NATO troops out becuase we have been at war long enough. We should keep some troops out there just to look out though because i think this could be a danger. We should help our own country first with all the problems we have too like melanie said and then afterwards we can help others
ReplyDeleteI disagree with melanie and alayna they should definately not take the troops out, eventually we should but not now. Yes it isn't our country and therefore not our problem which is why we shouldn't have put any of our troops there in the first place, but since we already did there is nothing else we can do except keep them there. If we take them out it leaves our country vulnerable and also makes all the lives lost fighting, lost in vain because the countrys just going to go back to its original state. If we keep them there it could continue to give peace and order to their country. I just think a lot more time is needed before we decide to take out the troops.
